Far Too Long

Good Morning Everyone,

It has been quite a while since I posted anything online.  There are many reasons for this, but I won't bore you with the details.  I will try an post again on a regular basis.

This past weekend, some friends of mine from the Chester County Camera Club and I got together at the Conowingo Dam to photograph the mature and juvenile Bald Eagles flying around the area.  It was quite a sight, and although I have been there on several occasions, one can never get bored with the aerial display and maneuvers  these beautiful creatures display when they are on the quest to satisfy their hunger for fresh fish that is plentiful in the Susquehanna River.

I hope you enjoy these photos.  More to come.

The image below is one in a series of shots that shows the juvenile Bald Eagle capturing its meal, and then, as it begins to fly away with it, the juvenile becomes aware that the mature Bald Eagle is in hot pursuit.  Intimidated by this, the juvenile drops the fish in its talons.  The mature Bald Eagle tries to catch the falling fish, but misses.  I didn't realize how funny this looked until I got home and began to process the photographs.

I really like this image for the way the flock of geese behind the Bald Eagle mimic in their formation the position the Bald Eagle is in during its flight.

New Exhibits
May 5 - July 31, 2013
Exton Library Exhibit

I have been in charge of organizing various group shows for the Chester County Camera Club this year.  Recently, we finished a group show at the Starbuck's on High St. in West Chester, PA.  In May, we will begin a new 3 month exhibit at the Exton Library on Exton, PA.  I am participating in this exhibit along with three other members of the Club. Please stop by and take a look at the wonderful collection of photographs.  All work will be for sale.

I have just had 12 of my Black & White and Color prints accepted at the Vision Expansion Gallery on High St. in West Chester, PA.  The gallery owner says that if all goes well, she will give me wall space...pray all goes well!

I just sold a print to a woman who works at the Paoli Cancer Center at the Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA.  I am participating in the Chester County Camera Club group exhibit at the Cancer Center.  Our goal is to bring some relieve and comfort to the patients who go to the Cancer Center for treatment and their families.  It is a very moving experience and one that I am proud to be a part of and share with my fellow Chester County Camera Club members.

My photographs can be seen at the following galleries and place of business:

Framer's Market in Exton, PA
Progressive Chiropractic in Paoli, PA
Dr. Douglas R. Vallinino, DMD

I hope you will stop by and see my work at one or all of these wonderful galleries and businesses. As always, I thank you for your support, your business, and your comments.
